A Brief Company History

Torc Precision Engineering Limited is a family run business. The company opened its doors for the first time over twenty years ago under the name, Precision Engineering Services, to cater for the growing needs of both the commercial and industrial sectors of the community. From our humble beginnings with our very limited resources, we have matured and grown into a prominent force in the marketplace. Becoming Torc Precision Engineering Limited in 1984, today our range of services is much wider and the community which we serve has become much larger.

Torc has become known for its precision, dedication, service and competitive pricing. Our services have grown to include CNC machining and building of industrial production systems among others.

1990 saw a further expansion of our operation with the creation of Torc Bearings and Hydraulics, in response to our customers needs and requests. This retail outlet carries large stocks of bearings, seals, pulleys, belts, etc., as well as facilities for producing custom hydraulic hoses and fixtures.

This move proved to be highly secuessful, not only in retail sales but also in complementing the existing business perfectly. The year 1998 saw the integration of Torc Bearings & Hydraulics with Torc Precision Engineering. In order to further improve our service and competitiveness both companies are now one.

We now have a small but dedicated and highly skilled team of twenty four employees and a very diverse range of customers ranging from large electronics companies, polymer fabrication companies, joineries, to smaller outfits.
